Red Cross Blood Drive

The New Year’s holiday weekend was barely over, but that didn’t stop people from flocking to Sandbridge’s Red Cross Blood Drive on Thursday, January 4. The event at the Fire & Rescue Station drew a large crowd and enabled the Red Cross to collect 28 units of blood. Those who gave the gift of life left with a gift for themselves: a free long-sleeved tee shirt. Thank you to Fred Greene and Ken Leach and all the volunteers. Mark your calendars, the next blood drive is Thursday March 7.
