The grounds of Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) remain open from sunrise to sunset for wildlife-dependent recreation, including hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking/canoeing, wildlife observation and wildlife photography. Fees for all U.S. Department of the Interior lands, including Back Bay NWR, are currently waived in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the Visitor Center is closed until further notice. Please enjoy the refuge grounds responsibly by maintaining adequate social distance and adhering to all refuge regulations.
